Getting started

Set up in 4 steps
  1. Add your services (Services tab) — name, price, duration, photos.
  2. Set your hours (Settings) so customers only see times you work.
  3. Choose a plan (Payments & Plan) to switch on online booking — every paid plan has a 1-month free trial.
  4. Connect Stripe so bookings can take a deposit. Money lands in your own Stripe account.

What's the difference between Free and paid?

Free ($0/mo) lets you take online bookings and deposits for a 5% fee per booking (and shows our "Powered by" badge). Paid plans ($39 Growth / $89 Pro) charge 0% per booking, drop the badge, and add more features.

Plans & fees

How pricing works

Free is $0 (showcase only). Paid tiers add a small fee on each booking (and gift-card sale), taken out of the deposit:

  • Free — $0/mo · 5% per booking · mobile only · shows our "Powered by" badge
  • Growth — $39/mo · 0% per booking · 3 staff, 1 location · subscribers, email, gift cards, rebooking
  • Pro — $89/mo · 0% · all features incl. ✨ AI tools (captions, campaigns, replies) · 5 staff + 1 location, then +$19/mo per staff and +$39/mo per location. The AI custom website is a separate $29 one-time unlock on every plan.

Paid plans take no per-booking cut — you keep 100% of every booking. Only the free tier charges a 5% fee (out of the deposit) and carries our badge.

Connecting Stripe

Why do I need Stripe?

Stripe lets your booking page take a deposit and pays it straight into your bank. Go to Payments & Plan → Connect Stripe and follow Stripe's steps (you'll add your bank details). You must connect before you can take online bookings.

When do I get paid?

The deposit is paid when the customer books; Stripe pays it out to your bank on your normal payout schedule. The balance is collected by you on the day of the job.

What are Stripe's card fees?

Stripe charges card-processing fees on your own account: 1.7% + 30¢ for Australian cards and 3.5% + 30¢ for international cards. These are Stripe's standard fees and are separate from your Kerbside plan — on paid plans Kerbside takes 0% on top.

Bookings & deposits

How deposits work

You choose the deposit % (20/25/30 or custom, minimum 20%) in Settings. The customer pays it to lock in the booking; it shows as non-refundable on their confirmation.

Adding a booking yourself

Bookings tab → + Add booking. Manual bookings don't take an online deposit (you handle payment in person).

Reminders & reviews

Automatic: a day-of reminder, a ~30-minute heads-up, and a post-job review request. Add your review link in Settings.

Refunds

Refunding a deposit

Owners can Refund + Cancel from the Bookings tab. The customer always gets the full deposit back — if your Stripe balance is short, Stripe recovers it from your bank automatically. The platform fee is not returned.

Forms & emails

Customise what you ask customers

Forms & Emails tab → add any fields you need (address, vehicle, rego, dropdowns…). Name, email and phone are always collected.

Customise confirmation email & SMS

Use placeholders like {{first_name}}, {{datetime}}, {{service}}, {{total}}, {{manage_url}}, and any field key you added (e.g. {{rego}}). Leave blank for the default.

Memberships (Pro)

Setting up plans

Membership tab → define tiers (name, $/mo, visits per 28 days, interior/protection limits) and vehicle surcharges. Customers join at /join.html and book visits at /member.html.

Gift cards

Selling gift cards

Customers buy at /gift.html. Single-wash gifts (Growth) become a promo code; membership gifts (Pro) give a free first month. Delivery can be instant or scheduled by text.

Marketing

Subscribers & campaigns

Customers are added to your list automatically when they book. Marketing emails cost 1¢ each, added to your monthly invoice. Win-back and abandoned-booking recovery run automatically on Pro.

Account & billing

Free trial, cancelling, changing plan

Every paid plan starts with a 1-month free trial. Switch plans any time in Payments & Plan. Cancelling drops you to the free showcase tier at the end of your billing period.

Export or delete my data

Payments & Plan → Account: export everything as JSON, change your login email, or permanently delete your business.

Invoices & GST

Manage billing → opens the Stripe portal where you can download tax invoices and update your card/ABN.
